Mouse Myosin VA ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MYO5A (Myosin VA) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with detection via a biotinylated anti-MYO5A antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate solution. The density of the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of MYO5A calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay has a stated product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.045 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (average 91%), EDTA plasma (average 94%) and heparin plasma (average 96%), and linearity has been validated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for each of those sample types. The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
