Mouse Myoglobin ELISA Kit

The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Myoglobin, with detection performed by reading absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.227 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In the protocol, standards and samples are added to the coated wells, captured Myoglobin is bound by a biotinylated anti-Myoglobin antibody, and HRP-Avidin conjugate is subsequently added. TMB substrate produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the intensity of yellow proportional to Myoglobin concentration.
