Mouse Myeloperoxidase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Myeloperoxidase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids, with reactivity for mouse samples. The assay uses an antibody specific for Myeloperoxidase pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Myeloperoxidase is captured by the immobilised antibody; following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Myeloperoxidase Antibody is added, then HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The density of the resulting yellow colour, measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of Myeloperoxidase captured, and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 34 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips. Components supplied include the pre-coated 96-well plate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers; storage conditions vary between +4°C and -20°C depending on the component.
