Mouse Myeloid Differentiation Factor 88 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Myeloid Differentiation Factor 88 (MyD88) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised antibody specific for MyD88, followed by incubation with a biotinylated Anti-MyD88 antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The reaction is read at 450 nm in a colourimetric microplate reader, with yellow intensity proportional to MyD88 concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

The quantitative assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml and sensitivity is 29 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) averaged 93% in serum (range 84–102%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 91–100%), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 92–98%). Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
