Mouse Multimerin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Multimerin 2 (MMRN2) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for MMRN2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and the colorimetric reaction is read at 450nm using a microplate reader.

Sensitivity is 0.134 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.

The protocol uses a biotinylated anti-MMRN2 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after the addition of stop solution. The intensity of the yellow product is proportional to MMRN2 concentration, which is calculated by referring absorbance readings to a standard curve.
