Mouse Mucin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this assay is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Mucin 1 (MUC1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for MUC1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection achieved using a biotinylated anti-MUC1 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values across serum (91%), EDTA plasma (90%) and heparin plasma (84%) are provided, alongside dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 ratios across the same sample types.

Components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures between +4°C and -20°C depending on the component.
