Mouse Mothers Against Decapentaplegic Homolog 7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MADH7/SMAD7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for MADH7/SMAD7 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, standards and samples are added, and bound analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-MADH7/SMAD7 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of MADH7/SMAD7 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.07 ng/ml and an assay time of 4 h 30 min. Average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 84–99%), 92% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 82–103%) and 93% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 84–102%). Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed, and the kit is not to be used past its expiration date.
