Description
From Antibodies.com, this Mouse MCP3 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 3 (also known as CCL7) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.
The assay has a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <5.4 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported sample recoveries span 74% to 108% across the dilution series tested for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 91% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma) and 84% (heparin plasma). The procedure employs a Biotinylated Anti-MCP3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product after the addition of acidic stop solution; the concentration of MCP3 is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm by reference to a standard curve.
Components supplied include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the kit, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
