From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 (MCP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples.

The kit employs a pre-coated microplate platform and a sandwich immunoassay format using a biotinylated anti-MCP2 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate development read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The standard curve covers a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.3 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery values average 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (81–100%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (80–89%) in heparin plasma (n=5 each). Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components are intended for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol.
