Mouse Misato Homolog 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Misato Homolog 1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) onto which an antibody specific for Misato Homolog 1 has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and any target present is captured by the coated antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Misato Homolog 1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then introduced, producing a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Misato Homolog 1 is calculated from the standard curve. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

The manufacturer states the assay range as 0.312-20 ng/ml and sensitivity as 0.124 ng/ml. Reported sample performance values include serum (average 91%, range 80%-102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%-100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%-89%, n=5), with dilution data provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each sample type.
