Mouse Milk Fat Globule EGF Factor 8 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MFGE8 (Milk Fat Globule EGF Factor 8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-MFGE8 detection antibody, with signal generated by an HRP-catalysed TMB substrate reaction read at 450 nm.

The kit reports a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.3 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spiked recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been characterised from 1:2 to 1:16 for each of these sample types. The procedure is intended for use with a colourimetric microplate reader.
