Mouse Midkine ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Midkine in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured Midkine is detected using a biotinylated anti-Midkine antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. Detection is colorimetric and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

The product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery validation in serum gave 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 81–99% (average 90%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
