Mouse Microtubule Associated Protein 1A ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is configured for the quantitative determination of mouse Microtubule Associated Protein 1A (MAP1A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay format. An antibody specific for MAP1A is pre-coated onto the microplate; standards and samples are added, and captured MAP1A is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-MAP1A Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to MAP1A concentration.

Reported specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.07 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean recovery is 91% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated between 1:2 and 1:16 in each matrix. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the kit expiration date.
