Mouse Microsomal Triglyceride Transfer Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Microsomal Triglyceride Transfer Protein (MTTP/MTP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), and the enzymatic reaction is read as O.D. absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The chromogenic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 each), with dilution linearity data provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
