Mouse Methionine Adenosyltransferase I Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MAT1A in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with reactivity defined for mouse samples.

An antibody specific for MAT1A is immobilised on the plate; standards and test samples are added and bound, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-MAT1A Antibody and then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction as a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the concentration of MAT1A calculated from the optical density read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader against the standard curve.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.28 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. The product is intended for research use only. Supplied kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), Wash Buffer 30X (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
