Mouse Meteorin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Meteorin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Meteorin, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Meteorin Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate solution. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of <4.1 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Reported recovery values are: serum n=5, 80% - 102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma n=5, 81% - 100% (average 90%); heparin plasma n=5, 80% - 89% (average 84%). Percentage values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
