Mouse Metallothionein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Metallothionein 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection via a biotinylated anti-Metallothionein antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a product range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <35.8 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery in mouse samples (n=5) averages 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum (87-107%), EDTA plasma (79-108%) and heparin plasma (82-105%).

Supplied components include the pre-coated 96 well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
