Mouse Mdm2 p53 Binding Protein Homolog ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MDM2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for MDM2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Captured MDM2 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-MDM2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a reported range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.129 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate platform of 12 x 8 well strips. Reactivity is mouse; the target is the Mdm2 p53 binding protein homolog. Kit components include lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures specified per component.

Sample validation data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with reported recovery ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% respectively for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
