Mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for MMP2, together with a biotinylated anti-MMP2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and compared against a standard curve.

The kit has an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml, with a total incubation time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%; n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%; n=5), and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%; n=5). Dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample matrices. Kit components are intended for storage at +4 °C or –20 °C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
