Mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 15 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse MT2-MMP (Matrix Metalloproteinase 15) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform with colorimetric detection via TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. In the procedure, an antibody specific for MT2-MMP is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-MT2-MMP detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The density of the developed yellow colour is proportional to MT2-MMP concentration and is calculated against the standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of less than 28.4 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data supplied by the manufacturer list average spike-and-recovery values of 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Components supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X concentrate), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers.
