Mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 (MMP13) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for mouse MMP13; bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-MMP13 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, and signal is developed with TMB substrate and quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported performance includes a sensitivity of <36 pg/ml, an assay range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean spike-and-recovery values are reported as 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Linearity is reported across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in all three sample matrices: serum 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% (n=5); EDTA plasma 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109% and 87–91% (n=5); heparin plasma 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98% and 87–110% (n=5).
