Mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 11 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase 11 (MMP11) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with biotinylated anti-MMP11 antibody and HRP-avidin detection visualised using TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range covers 0.312-20 ng/ml with a stated sensitivity of <0.08 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery was assessed across serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and Heparin plasma (n=5), with average values of 91% (range 83%-100%), 96% (range 90%-103%) and 95% (range 89%-102%) respectively. Linearity was demonstrated at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
