Mouse Matrix Extracellular Phosphoglycoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Matrix Extracellular Phosphoglycoprotein (MEPE) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay format with a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for MEPE. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where MEPE is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-MEPE Antibody binds the captured target, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the intensity of yellow proportional to the amount of MEPE present in each well.

Reported sensitivity is <0.22 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.468-30 ng/ml. Recovery values for n=5 are: serum 80-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.

Detection is colorimetric, measured by absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
