Mouse Major Basic Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Major Basic Protein (PRG2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, and has a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is <0.235 ng/ml with a working range of 0.625–40 ng/ml. Manufacturer recovery data show averages of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions is also reported. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated and not used past the stated expiration date.
