Mouse Macrophage Stimulating Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Macrophage Stimulating Protein (MSP/MST1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for MSP/MST1. After addition of standards or samples, a biotinylated anti-MSP/MST1 antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports an assay range of 3.12–200 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <1.47 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate, and reactivity is specific to mouse samples.

Recovery data (n=5) are reported as: serum 80–102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%); heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
