Mouse Macrophage Derived Chemokine ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Macrophage Derived Chemokine (MDC) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for MDC; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-MDC detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with signal quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <5.8 pg/ml with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. The assay runs for 4 hours 30 minutes in a quantitative sandwich format. Average recovery is reported as 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5).

Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its indicated expiration date.
