Mouse M-CSF ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com and designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse M-CSF in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and shows no significant cross-reactivity, enabling specific measurement of both native and recombinant mouse M-CSF.

The kit is based on a quantitative sandwich immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific for mouse M-CSF is immobilised onto microwells, and standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a biotin-linked monoclonal antibody specific for M-CSF. After removal of unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added and a substrate solution reacts with HRP, with colour developing in proportion to the amount of M-CSF bound. Colour development is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured by microplate reader.

Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform. The product range is 31.25 - 2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.06 pg/ml, and the average recovery from serum samples is reported as 92%. The kit should be stored at +4°C and must not be used past the expiration date.
