Mouse Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich-format immunoassay kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse LPCAT3 (Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate to which an antibody specific for LPCAT3 has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and any LPCAT3 present is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-LPCAT3 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution, and the concentration of LPCAT3 is calculated from the optical density read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.061 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X concentrate), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
