Mouse Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 2 (LPCAT2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated detection antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.108 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing showed serum (n=5) at 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma at 81%–101% (average 91%) and heparin plasma at 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilutional linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, yielding serum recoveries of 74%–107%, EDTA plasma 79%–108% and heparin plasma 82%–105%.
