Mouse Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse LPCAT1 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for LPCAT1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the LPCAT1 present binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-LPCAT1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The concentration of LPCAT1 is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Included components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
