Mouse Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse LPA-3 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for LPA-3 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells where LPA-3 is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-LPA-3 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of LPA-3 is calculated from the standard curve.

Reported assay sensitivity is 0.053 ng/ml, with a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been documented in serum (80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%), and dilution linearity data are provided for dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past the stated expiration date.
