Mouse Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

A 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with antibody specific for LDL Receptor. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured LDL Receptor is detected using a biotinylated anti-LDL Receptor antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery was validated in serum (n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Components include a pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as appropriate; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
