Mouse Low Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the intensity of the yellow colour proportional to the amount of LDL captured in each well. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a measurable range of 15.6–1000 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <6.9 ng/ml. Spike recovery was 80%–102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81%–100% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across each of these sample types. Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and not to be used past the expiration date.
