Mouse Lipin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lipin 1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The Mouse Lipin 1 ELISA Kit employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Lipin 1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Lipin 1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and Lipin 1 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay has a stated range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (each n=5), with linearity data provided across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Supplied kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, which are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
