Mouse Lipase, Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lipoprotein Lipase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-Lipoprotein Lipase detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate developed to a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the standard curve spans 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <24 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recoveries in undiluted samples (n=5) average 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Supplied components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive Plate Sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and a warning not to use the kit past its expiration date.
