Mouse Lipase, Hepatic ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) distributed by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse hepatic lipase (LIPC). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids, and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips.

Sensitivity is quoted at less than 0.119 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. The complete assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader. TMB substrate is used for signal generation, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of LIPC captured in each well.

Reactivity is specified for mouse samples. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
