Mouse Lin-28 Homolog A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lin28A in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Lin28A, configured as 12 x 8 well strips, and uses a biotinylated anti-Lin28A antibody with HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate for colorimetric detection at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The quantitative assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.049 ng/ml. Samples are read on a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Provided reagents include pre-coated 96-well microplate strips, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) was reported as 84–102% (average 93%) for serum, 91–101% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 92–98% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Linearity upon dilution (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) was reported as 90–103%, 77–108%, 86–93%, 91–106% for serum; 80–104%, 89–93%, 86–110%, 76–103% for EDTA plasma; and 90–96%, 85–108%, 88–100%, 90–103% for heparin plasma.
