Mouse Leptin Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Leptin Receptor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform and a colourmetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Quantitative performance: assay range 31.2-2000 pg/ml, sensitivity <14.5 pg/ml, total assay time 4h 30m. Recovery was assessed in serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, average 84%). The kit components include lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Principle: an antibody specific for Leptin Receptor is pre-coated on the plate; standards and samples are captured, then detected with a biotinylated anti-Leptin Receptor antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change after addition of acidic stop solution is read at 450 nm and is proportional to Leptin Receptor concentration, calculated against a standard curve.
