Mouse Leptin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Leptin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate together with a biotinylated anti-Leptin detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; signal is developed with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.103 ng/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 min.

Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, concentrated wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Reported average spike-and-recovery values are 80–102% (mean 91%) for serum, 81–100% (mean 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (mean 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity testing across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions gave recovery ranges of 74–107% in serum, 79–108% in EDTA plasma and 82–105% in heparin plasma. Components should be stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
