Mouse Left/Right Determination Factor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Left/Right Determination Factor 1 (Lefty) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-Lefty detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Colour development is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <43 pg/ml and an assay range of 125–8000 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery in serum is reported at 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma at 81–101% (average 91%, n=5) and in heparin plasma at 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated per item.
