Description
A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse LCAT (Lecithin Cholesterol Acyltransferase) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection, using a biotinylated anti-LCAT antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate.
Sensitivity is reported as <6.9 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and results are read as optical density at 450 nm against a standard curve.
The kit is validated for mouse reactivity and intended for measuring LCAT in serum, plasma and tissue homogenate samples.
