Mouse Latent Transforming Growth Factor Beta Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Latent Transforming Growth Factor Beta Binding Protein 1 (LTBP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) onto which an antibody specific for LTBP1 has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, captured LTBP1 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-LTBP1 Antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate together with TMB substrate is used to generate a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is intended for mouse samples and is run as a quantitative sandwich ELISA over a total assay time of 4h 30m, with a stated assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80%-89% (average 84%) for Heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.
