Mouse Laminin Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Laminin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and quantification is performed by reading absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with a reported sensitivity of <0.29 ng/ml and a measurable product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. Reported recovery values across sample matrices include serum 80%–102%, EDTA plasma 81%–100% and heparin plasma 80%–89%.

An antibody specific for Laminin is pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and test samples are added and Laminin present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Laminin Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is then used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Laminin captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reactivity is mouse and the target is Laminin Alpha 1.
