Mouse Lactoperoxidase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lactoperoxidase (LPO) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is read colourmetrically on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Capture is performed using an antibody specific for LPO immobilised on the plate, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-LPO Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate used to visualise the enzymatic reaction.

The kit has a stated product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.092 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values for serum (n=5) span 80%–102% with an average of 91%, for EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% averaging 90%, and for heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity data are provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
