Mouse Lactoferrin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit from the Assays and Kits range is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lactoferrin in serum, plasma, breast milk or other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows a 4h 30m protocol with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 0.241 ng/ml with a product range of 0.625-40 ng/ml. The sandwich immunoassay principle uses a biotinylated anti-Lactoferrin antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to Lactoferrin concentration. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol.

Recovery performance has been validated in serum (range 80% – 102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81% – 100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80% – 89%, average 84%) samples, with n=5 for each matrix.
