Mouse Lactate Dehydrogenase B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lactate Dehydrogenase B (LDH-B) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

Employing the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, the assay uses a pre-coated microplate with antibody specific for Lactate Dehydrogenase B. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and bound LDH-B is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-LDH-B Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution producing a yellow colour, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of LDH-B calculated by reference to a standard curve. The assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes and the product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml.

The kit has been validated for use with mouse serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Reported average recovery values include Serum at 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA Plasma at 90% (range 81–100%) and Heparin Plasma at 84% (range 80–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
