Mouse Ki-67 Protein ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Ki67 protein in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format on a pre-coated microplate, with a biotinylated anti-Ki67 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

Performance figures stated by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.108 ng/ml. Standards and samples are incubated with the immobilised capture antibody, followed by detection antibody and TMB substrate; the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, and the resulting absorbance is proportional to the Ki67 concentration in each well. Components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery data are reported for serum (average 91%, range 83–100%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 95%, range 91–100%) and heparin plasma (average 96%, range 91–101%). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for all three sample types. The kit is for research use only.
