Mouse Keratin 9 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cytokeratin 9 in tissue homogenates and a range of other biological fluids, including serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell lysates.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate to which standards and samples are added; captured Cytokeratin 9 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Cytokeratin 9 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Validation data indicate average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5).
