Mouse Kallikrein 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Kallikrein 4 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Kallikrein 4 pre-coated onto the microplate wells. Standards and test samples are added and Kallikrein 4 present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Kallikrein 4 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution. The resulting blue product turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Kallikrein 4 is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit is supplied on a pre-coated microplate in 12 x 8 well strips. The quantitative assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components include a lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, a 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.

Validated recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively across the tested ranges (n=5). Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in each sample matrix. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
