Mouse Kallikrein 13 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Kallikrein 13 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate. An antibody specific for Kallikrein 13 immobilises the analyte from standards and samples; detection is achieved with a Biotinylated Anti-Kallikrein 13 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After incubation with TMB substrate, an acidic stop solution is added and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kallikrein 13 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 6.9 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery data are reported for serum (average 91%; range 83–100%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 96%; range 90–103%, n=5), and heparin plasma (average 95%; range 89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 has been assessed, including in serum (n=5) at 1:2: 83–110%, 1:4: 79–100%, 1:8: 90–98%, 1:16: 82–108%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 1:2: 90–98%, 1:4: 90–105%, 1:8: 73–109%, 1:16: 87–91%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 1:2: 88–103%, 1:4: 77–105%, 1:8: 95–98%, 1:16: 87–110%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
